DAWGS is the newest Associate member of the Illinois Bankers Association. The mission of the IBA is to fulfill the needs of the financial services industry.
Activities the Illinois Bankers Association takes part in include setting policy, developing and delivering timely education and monitoring and responding to compliance questions. The Association also provides a forum for members to share ideas and best practices. This information sharing fosters a continuous improvement process for the IBA members and the communities they serve.
DAWGS has been securing vacant properties owned and managed by IBA members for over 6 years. As a long-time trusted partner to the financial services industry, it was a natural fit for DAWGS to join the IBA.
Jim Glass, Vice President of Engineering at DAWGS comments “We are happy to be a part of the IBA community and what they stand for. It takes strong partnerships and commitment of all involved to preserve and restore neighborhoods hit hard by recent real estate challenges. By joining the IBA, we feel we are able to extend our reach and better help our partners protect and secure vacant properties in and around Chicagoland. “
The Illinois Bankers Association, the voice of Illinois’ banking industry, is a full-service trade association dedicated to creating a positive business climate that benefits the entire banking industry and the communities they serve. The IBA is proud of its diverse membership, serving all sizes of financial institutions from the smallest community bank in the state to the largest national bank in the country. One-quarter of IBA members have assets of $100 million or less. Illinois headquartered banks and savings institutions safeguard more than $341.5 billion in deposits and extend more than $225.8 billion in loans to consumers and businesses.
